It’s finally here! Welcome to TeamUpMemphis.org, new online “home” for the Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation and youth mentoring in Memphis.

Through this site, you will find answers to questions like:

  • Who can be a mentor?
  • What is mentoring?
  • Where do you do it?
  • Why is mentoring important?
  • How does mentoring work?
  • And how can I “TEAM UP” with the Grizzlies Foundation?

The Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation is committed to serving Memphis youth through mentoring and education. Dozens of partnerships have formed, hundreds of training programs and resources offered, and millions of dollars donated to achieve these ends.  Now tools are available online to make getting involved—and informed—easy and efficient.

This new website offers comprehensive resources for prospective and current mentors, mentoring programs and individuals and organizations interested in youth mentoring. Features will include online applications, a calendar listing training, recruitment and networking opportunities, and useful tips for mentors.

“We want mentoring to be as easy and accessible as possible. The site will provide a ton of information and make getting involved easier than ever,” says Jenny Koltnow, Grizzlies Foundation Executive Director.  “By providing these resources, we hope to foster a greater sense of ‘team’ among those who are mentoring and give them chances to collaborate with and learn from one another.”

Corporate, faith-based and civic groups may also learn how to host speakers, donate services and resources, and promote mentoring among their employees or members.

In addition, fans can sign up for a bi-monthly newsletter, follow the Grizzlies Foundation on Facebook and Twitter, and see photos from recent events on Flickr.

Now’s a great time to TEAM UP. Thanks for visiting our new site!
