The Grizzlies Foundation recently awarded a $12,500 grant to support Leadership Memphis' Action Heroes program

A new Grizzlies Foundation funded partner, Leadership Memphis supports mentoring

Leadership Memphis was the recent recipient of a $12,500 grant to help support its Action Heroes program.

Through the Action Heroes program, class members and alumni “Team Up” with the Grizzlies to recruit colleagues and friends to become mentors in the Foundation’s partner programs throughout Memphis. This year alone, more than 60 Action Heroes have pledged to become mentors for Memphis children.

Leadership Memphis was recognized with other new Grizzlies Foundation grantees at the November 10, 2010 Grizzlies game. They were represented by David Williams, President and CEO of Leadership Memphis.
