Real Madrid Players visit Grizzlies Prep and encourage students

On Friday, October 5th Real Madrid players Sergio Rodriguez and Dontaye Draper paid a visit to Grizzlies Preparatory Charter School to talk to a group of students about motivation and their personal and professional lives. They visited the school to speak with students as part of the Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation’s TEAM UP youth mentoring initiative and EuroLeague Basketball’s ONE TEAM initiative.

Students participated in dribble relays drills while Rodriguez, Draper and other Real Madrid personnel encouraged them. Following the drills, the players talked about what motivates them and answered many good questions from the students.

On Saturday night, Real Madrid played and lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in a preseason game, 105-93 .
