The Grizzlies Foundation has been looking for adults to be Team Mentors. And we need men the most.
The Grizzlies Foundation is nearing the completion of our 50 mentors in 50 days campaign to find teams of 3 mentors who work with 9 students for the 2012-13 school year.
We have been successful in recruiting many new female mentors, but as we are expanding the size of the program, there are many 7th grade boys who want male mentors. Listen to mentor Freddie Norman and what he has gained by being a mentor (:46 into the video).
If you are interested in being a mentor, visit our website and fill out the application. Spots are limited for women and more men are needed. Please forward this or the link to the application to anyone you feel might be interested. There is no commitment now. This is the first step to giving what you know to the next generation.Share
