The Grizzlies Foundation has had many press articles about our successes lately

The Memphis Grizzlies were named “Sport Team of the Year” by London-based Beyond Sport. The Grizzlies were selected among professional sports teams spanning six continents. Executive Director Jenny Koltnow was in London for the Beyond Sport Summit, just days before the start of the London 2012 Olympics.

Memphis Grizzlies Preparatory Charter School opened on July 30 with 75 sixth-grade boys. Media attention has been tremendous and community interest in supporting the school and its students has been widespread.

Memphis Grizzlies staff and Foundation partners’ support has been overwhelming in preparing for the Opening. FedExForum staff have worked with ServiceMaster to transform 168 Jefferson Ave. Between the expert cleaning, paint job and new signage the building is a beautiful, welcoming and a place of pride for staff, teachers and students.
