On Friday, February 17th the Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation welcomed Sandra Neely-Brown to the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Denver Nuggets game as the Ashley Furniture Mentor of the Game.Congratulations to Sandra Neely-Brown!
Sandra has been a mentor with the Memphis City Schools CONNECT program for three years and is a TEAMmate as well. Sandra has been mentoring Shakierra since 8th grade. Shakierra is now in the 10th grade at Hamilton and she’s doing well academically and is on track for graduation in two years.
Shakierra is concerned about women’s health issues and aspires to become a Gynecologist after graduation from high school and college. Sandra says regardless of the challenges she and her mentee have had to face together during these three years, she is determined to help Shakierra stay focused on her life goals.
