The University of Memphis Division of Public & Non-Profit Administration recently announced the launch of the Institute for Philanthropy and Non-Profit Leadership. The new institute seeks to promote effective philanthropy, advance non-profit leadership practice and strengthen the non-profit sector through education and research.

The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs for students and those currently involved in non-profits and philanthropic programs. In addition to education, the institute will form partnerships with the non-profit community in Memphis in order to provide leaders and scholars with research that is relevant and responsive to current issues in the Mid-South.

Jenny Koltnow, Executive Director of the Grizzlies Foundation, is serving on the advisory board for the new institute along with other non-profit leaders. You can visit the website for the new institute here.
